From the pristine Gippsland region of Southeast Victoria, the O'Connor family has been supplying premium Beef for over three generations.  With abundant, nutrient rich pastures cattle graze on natural clover and rye grass.

All O’Connor beef is sourced from selected British bred cattle (Black Angus & Hereford) and is certified “Natural” under the AQIS approved O’Connor Natural Beef Program. O'Connor Superior Grain Fed Beef has been graded for its incredible meat and fat colour.

How to cook a Chateaubriand

Bring your beef to room temperature.

Preheat oven to 200 Degrees Celsius.

Season beef generously with salt.

Heat a lightly oiled frying pan. When hot add the beef and sear quickly on all sides over a high heat.

Place beef on an elevated rack in a roasting pan. Roast uncovered, using a cooking timer and meat thermometer to desired doneness.

Allow 20-40 minutes resting time before slicing

This product has been vacuum sealed and can be safely stored refrigerated.
