Galbi (meaning "rib") is a type of gui - or grilled dish - found in Korean barbecue. It is made using beef short rib, which is a well-marbled and flavour packed cut of beef.
We have expertly prepared Rangers Valley Black Onyx Beef short rib in the traditional Korean style known as Wang Galbi. This is considered the KING of cuts in Korean cuisine and requires a high level of expertise to prepare. Each bone in piece is filleted or flanked and then folded around the bone ensuring the perfect texture.
This product has been marinated for your convenience and when unfolded and grilled over high heat, will release delicious, complex and deep flavours.

This product has been packaged using Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP). MAP involves controlling or modifying the atmosphere surrounding a product within a package to provide optimal conditions for increasing shelf life and reducing oxidation and spoilage of perishable foods.
During this process, a harmless gas is used to displace ambient oxygen. This is done to decrease the amount of oxygen inside the package, which will in turn decrease the rate of spoilage, as oxygen is one of the top killers of freshness.
