Beef Wellington - 650g


Perfect for any occasion, our take on a traditional Beef Wellington celebrates the luxury of Beef Fillet.

Handmade in-house, we prepare the fillet, apply a tasty mix of mushrooms & fine herbs, and finally encase it all in buttery puff pastry. All you have to do is brush with egg yolk and bake in the oven!

Preheat oven to 210 degrees Celsius (fan-forced);

Place the Wellington on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper;

Gently whisk one egg yolk, brush the surface area of the pastry with the egg wash;

Best served medium rare - the internal temperature will read 52 degrees Celsius on a meat thermometer - the pastry will be golden brown;

Bake for 25 - 30 minutes;

Set aside to rest for 10 minutes. Thickly slice to serve.
