Introducing another game changer, our take on a yum cha classic - Kurobuta Pork Buns. We have used the incredibly juicy and highly marbled Kurobuta Pork neck to fill these light fluffy buns with sticky, tender BBQ char siu. We have upped the ante by filled these beauties with over 50% of descendant BBQ char siu meat.
Kurobuta Pork is one of the most highly prized pork products available in this country. It comes from the ancient breed of pig known as Black Berkshire. Kurobuta Pork is raised in the mild climate of Broken Head NSW (near to Byron Bay), where the pigs have a low stress lifestyle. Pink hued and heavily marbled, this Pork has a sweet, rich flavour. Kurobuta Pork is tender and juicy, making this distinct pork variety worthy of its prestigious reputation.
These savoury buns are best steamed in a bamboo basket and should be consumed immediately with your favourite hot sauce. These buns once steamed are tender, fluffy and filled with a mind-blowing sticky, juicy and savoury filling.

* In order to maintain the integrity of this product, the buns have been frozen.
The preferred method to cook your buns is steamed in a bamboo steamer or over a stainless-steel double boiler.
Bring the water to a rapid boil;
Place the frozen Buns into your steamer and cover;
Steam the Buns over boiling water for approx. 15 minutes;
Your buns are cooked when the meat inside is steaming hot.
